Mango is everyone’s favourite. But most of us avoid mango thinking that it will cause acne, and being high in calories, will show on our waistline. People with diabetes also believe that mangoes are a complete no for them. But is it worth eliminating this yummy fruit from your plate? Probably not, celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar  has answered all your queries about mango on her social media page.

Should you eat mangoes often?
Mango is dense in vitamin C, the one nutrient that is key to strengthen your bones and joints. What’s more, mango is incredibly rich in fibre, and so you no longer have to resort to something boring to help up your fibre intake.

Should you avoid mango if you have diabetes?
Is mango dangerous for people with diabetes? Mangoes are not just safe for diabetics, but it is recommended that you eat a mango a day. Mango is low on glycemic index and high in other nutrients which will help regulate your blood sugar. Here are 5 foods all diabetics should avoid.
